Why do we term our therapy
"ABA-Educational Therapy" not "ABA Therapy"?
First of all let's look at the following to identify what Empowered4life's Educational Therapy Comprises of:

As you can tell from the Venn Diagram, our Educational Therapy uses ABA as our primary methodology while incorporating other methodologies when deem fit in the individualised program for each child we work with! Despite it being the bulk of our focus, we do not term our therapy program under ABA therapy, simply because we do not strictly adhere to the code of ethics of ABA (find out here).
*Data collection: You would notice that data collection is sitting on the line dividing Educational Therapy and ABA Therapy. At Empowered4Life we see the importance of data collection. However, to not compromise the quality of sessions, we prioritize the progress of the child over data collection. In short, we are child-focused over data-focused.
Our ABA-Educational Therapy is also not tuition! Hence if you're looking for a tuition teacher for your special needs child to catch up on their academics, this therapy is not the one for you. Our therapists are not well versed and proficient in the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum to provide quality support in this area. However, if you find that it is due to behaviour challenges that causes your child to struggle with his/her school work. Our one-time parent coaching session can be of help, to provide you with the strategies and skills to work and motivate your child better.
